TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By participating in OPPO Run, including but not limited to registering on this website, participants are considered to have accepted and agreed to follow and is binded to all rules and regulations, terms and Conditionss set for the event by the organizer of OPPO Run. Participants are they who have received the registration confirmation to OPPO Run.

General
  1. By registering for OPPO Run (“The Race”), participants agree to accept and follow the terms and Conditions of the race.
  2. Distances offered this year are 21K, 10K, 5K.
  3. Registration is open for Indonesian citizens, KITAS holders, and foreigners (for Open Category) with valid passports and stay permits or visas.
  4. The minimum age requirement on the race day for OPPO Run 2025 are:
      • Seventeen (17) years old for Half Marathon
      • Fourteen (14) years old for 10K category
      • Twelve (12) years old for 5K category
    Participants under the minimum age are not eligible to participate in the race.
  5. Participants must follow the health protocols set by the organizer during the OPPO Run, including, but not limited to:
      • Physical distancing
      • Mask use
      • Washing hands with soap and water
      • Using hand sanitizer
    Upon the organizer’s discretion, participants who do not follow or violate the health protocols set by the organizer will be asked to leave and may not participate in the OPPO Run event.
  6. Participants are advised to consult with a doctor about their health Conditions before participating in the race. Participants acknowledge and accept that their participation in this race carries potential risks and hazards, including but not limited to:
      • Accidents
      • Physical or physical injuries
      • Health problems
      • Paralysis
      • Death
      • Damage to property
      • Other losses
    and other risks that are not known before and which at this time are reasonably unpredictable (“Risks and Hazards”). These may occur due to participants’ actions, other people’s actions, or Conditions of the facilities and/or equipment and the environment and/or weather and/or force majeure.
  7. The organizer shall not be held responsible for any harm and/or disadvantage caused by the following including but not limited to:
      • The occurrence of Risks and Hazards
      • Late arrival to the race
      • Congenital diseases
      • Diseases and infection caused by Covid-19 while participating in OPPO Run
      • Force Majeure
  8. Organizer requires pregnant women to inform their pregnancy status, submit a clearance letter from a doctor, and sign a waiver form before participating in the race or at the latest one (1) week before the race by email. A sample form can be downloaded HERE.
    The organizer shall not be responsible for complications, health issues, and/or any other Risks and Hazards that may arise from participating in the race during pregnancy and can stop participants from the race for health and safety reasons.
  9. Participants expressly and exclusively grant the organizers and their assignee, the irrevocable right to use participants’ name, likeness, biography, factually or otherwise in connection with the production, distribution, and publication of the images, photographs, and other proprietary rights related to the running event, world-wide in any devices, media or publications.
  10. Copyright and other proprietary rights (if any) of images, photographs, articles, race records, and location information, covering the event, and their usage right for TV broadcasting, newspapers, magazines, the internet, and other media or publications belongs to the Race Organizer.
    This also includes but is not limited to the names and other personal information such as age and address (country, province, and city) of the participants.
  11. In the event of unforeseen circumstances (Force Majeure) including but not limited to war (whether stated or not), violence, social unrest, strikes, outbreaks, pandemics, accidents, fires, floods, natural disasters, embargos, legal reasons, or the actions of the government of the Republic of Indonesia, and other similar events which may occur in the future, in which the Race Organizer cannot prevent and caused the cancellation of OPPO Run, the organizer shall not be held responsible for any loss for any Risks and Hazards that might happen due to the race cancellation and/or reschedule of OPPO Run.
  12. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the race if a Force Majeure event happens.
  13. The race registration fee is non-refundable. In the case of a race being canceled for a Force Majeure event, the organizer shall be entitled to the registration fee and is not obligated to return the race registration fee to the participants.
  14. If the race is canceled, the organizer will transfer the participants’ registration to the next year within a period that is set by the organizers.
  15. Information and how-to to transfer participants’ race entry to next year will be sent by email by the organizers and the participants are required to complete the form completely and honestly.
Insurance
  1. By registering for OPPO Run 2025 (“The Race”), all participants are automatically covered by Personal Accident Insurance provided by BCA Insurance under the PSAKI policy, as part of their official participation benefits.
  2. As insurance covers accident risks that:
      • Occur suddenly and unexpectedly
      • Are unintentional
      • Involve physical violence
      • Result in the Insured experiencing one or more of the following:
          • Death
          • Total permanent disability
          • Partial permanent disability
          • Emergency medical expenses
  3. The entry age for coverage is between 6 and 65 years old.
  4. Insurance Benefits
    Coverage A – Death, including:
      • If the Insured dies within 12 months following a covered accident.
      • Or, if the Insured is declared missing and not found within 60 days from the accident date.
    Coverage B – Permanent Disability
      • Total Permanent Disability, including loss of sight in both eyes; or the loss or loss of function of both arms; or the loss or loss of function of both legs; or the loss or loss of function of: sight in one eye and one arm; sight in one eye and one leg; or one leg and one arm.
      • Total Permanent Disability may also include mental illness or total paralysis suffered by the Insured as a direct result of a covered accident.
      • Partial Permanent Disability, involving the loss or loss of function of a part of the body. The right to receive compensation is granted once the condition is diagnosed and confirmed as permanent by a medical professional.
      • Both Total and Partial Permanent Disability must occur within 12 (twelve) months from the date of the accident.
    Coverage C – Medical Expenses, including:
      • Reimbursement of medical or treatment costs directly resulting from the accident
      • Maximum limit as stated in the Sum Insured
  5. Coverage Type Maximum Amount
      • Death → Up to IDR 25,000,000
      • Permanent Disability → Up to IDR 25,000,000
      • Emergency Medical Expense → Up to IDR 2,500,000
    If the Insured has received compensation for Permanent Disability and subsequently passes away as a result of the same accident, the Death Benefit will be paid after deducting the amount of Permanent Disability compensation that has already been paid. If the Permanent Disability compensation paid is greater than the Death Benefit, then the Insured shall not be entitled to receive any Death Benefit.

      • Event: OPPO Run 2025 – Planned in Bali
      • Coverage applies during the race event only
      • Total insured participants: up to 7,000
  7. Compensation Limits:
      • Death: Compensation of 100% of the Sum Insured
      • Total Permanent Disability: Compensation of 100% of the Sum Insured
      • Partial Permanent Disability: Compensation will be paid to the Insured based on a percentage table of the Sum Insured as follows:

  8. Special Provisions:
      • Maximum claim for all disability types cannot exceed 100% of the Sum Insured
      • Left-handed participants: "right" and "left" are reversed for compensation purposes
      • Partial loss is paid proportionally
      • Loss of multiple fingers will not exceed compensation for loss of one hand
      • Disability compensation requires a doctor’s certification confirming ≥50% loss of function
      • There is no deductible (NIL), and all benefits are paid in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).
      • The insurance is valid only during the official OPPO Run 2025 event duration and is paid once (Single Premium), included as part of event participation.

  11. Coverage does not apply to accidents resulting from or related to:
      • War, rebellion, terrorism (biological/chemical/nuclear)
      • Criminal acts, suicide, intentional injuries, intoxication, or drug use
      • Professional sports or motor vehicle races
      • Pre-existing conditions, illness, pregnancy, childbirth, miscarriage
      • Cyber, nuclear, and pollution-related risks
      • Any exclusions as stated in PSAKDI
  12. Coverage exclusions also refer to the provisions set forth in PSAKDI Article 4.
    • 1. Accidents that occur as a direct result of the Insured:
        • Participating in air traffic, except as a valid passenger (holding an official ticket) on a commercial passenger aircraft operated by a licensed airline.
        • Engaging in boxing, wrestling, or any form of martial arts; rugby, hockey, ice or snow sports, mountain or ice climbing, and all types of physical contact sports, bungee jumping and similar activities, caving or deep-hole exploration, hunting animals, sailing alone, or training for or participating in motorcar/motorcycle speed or skill competitions, aerial sports, or water sports.
        • Intentionally committing or participating in a crime.
        • Violating applicable laws and regulations.
        • Suffering from hernia, epilepsy, or sunstroke.
        • Contracting diseases, infections, viruses, or germs in the broadest sense, which result in symptoms such as fever (hay fever), typhus, porphyria, dysentery, food poisoning (botulism), malaria, leptospirosis, filariasis, and sleeping sickness caused by insect bites or stings.
        • Worsening of the accident’s consequences due to pre-existing conditions such as diabetes, poor blood circulation, aneurysms, or blindness in one eye if the other eye is injured in the accident.
          In such cases, the compensation amount will not exceed the amount that would have been paid if such conditions were not present.
    • 2. Accidents caused by or resulting from:
        • The Insured performing duties in the military or police service or assisting related operations, unless previously agreed upon by the insurer without reducing the provisions in section (2.2).
        • Either directly or indirectly resulting from:
            • Riots, strikes, labor disturbances, criminal acts, civil commotion, uprisings, seizure of power, revolutions, rebellions, military force, invasion, civil war or war hostilities, treason, terrorism, or sabotage.
            • Acts of violence including murder, assault, rape, or kidnapping, whether these acts are targeted at the Insured or others.
            • Detention of the Insured in internment or exile, either legally or illegally, under orders from military, civil, judicial, police, or political authorities related to or arising from the situations described above.
              In such cases, it is the obligation of the Insured or the designated beneficiaries to prove that the accident has no connection, directly or indirectly, with the events excluded above.
        • Any form of nuclear or atomic reactions.
    • 3. The insurer is not obligated to pay compensation or reimbursement for:
        • Expenses incurred to prevent or minimize loss, unless approved by the Insurer.
        • Accidents and their consequences caused by deliberate, planned, or intentional actions by the Insured or the beneficiaries, except:
            • When the Insured is performing their stated occupation as declared in this policy, or
            • When the Insured is trying to save themselves, other people, animals, goods, or attempting to protect them legally, without reducing the provisions of clause (2.2) above.
    • 4. Medical treatment of benefits arising directly or indirectly from infection with the HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) or its variants, including AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) and AIDS-Related Complex (ARC) or other related conditions.
  13. Additional Conditions
      • Participant updates (addition/removal) must be submitted within 90 calendar days.
      • Claims must be reported within 90 calendar days.
      • Complete claim documentation must be submitted within 180 calendar days from the date of the incident.
      • All submitted documents must be valid/legal; a physician’s statement may be submitted later if necessary.
  14. Coverage Ends If:
      • The policy period ends.
      • Either party terminates the policy with written notice.
      • The Insured dies.
      • 100% disability benefit has been paid.
      • The Insured suffers from mental disability.
      • The Insured turns 66 years old during the active policy period.
      • The Insured no longer resides in Indonesia (unless written approval is obtained).
      • The Insured is under arrest or incarcerated.
Registration & Participation
  1. The submission of the online registration form through the OPPO Run official website is considered an acknowledgment and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
  2. Payment confirmation email, along with its associated registration ID, will be sent immediately after our system successfully received and verified the participant’s payment.
  3. The organizer reserves the right to close the registration before the registration deadline and/or when the race quota is full.
  4. The participants agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about the participants in the registration form. The participants are responsible for the information provided. The race organizer may contact the participants from time to time by email. Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizer shall be deemed as received by the participants.
  5. Bib number is the unique personal identification of the participant and may not be exchanged and/or transferred to another party.
  6. Sale and/or transfer of race bib numbers is strictly prohibited and will result in the disqualification and/or banning of individuals involved from future events.
  7. Bib number must be collected during the race pack collection period that will be set by the organizer.
  8. Race pack cannot be mailed or collected on race day.
  9. If a participant is found to have registered for two different categories or more under the same name, the organizers reserve the right to withhold all of the bib numbers and race pack and disqualify participants from the race.
  10. Bib number and race pack can be collected by a representative by bringing a letter of authorization at race pack collection, and include a copy of proof of registration, with a copy of ID of the participant and the representative. Sample of the letter of authorization can be downloaded HERE.
The Race
  1. Participants must be able to complete the full distance of each category, from the official start line to the official finish line, within the time limit required by the organizer (Cut-off times). Please note that the official timer calculation is the authority of the organizer.
  2. Participants shall not obstruct the race by failing to follow the instructions of the race officials. Violation of this rule will be the grounds for disqualification of participants from the race.
  3. Participants who committed unsportsmanlike conduct that includes but is not limited the blocking, or obstructing other participants and/or the run course, will be automatically disqualified from the race.
  4. Water stations will be provided along the run course with an interval between 2km to 3km in between stations. A refreshment station will be provided at the finish.
  5. Bib numbers must be placed on the front side of the participants and must be visible throughout the race from start to finish.
  6. No unofficial vehicles, bikes, in-line skates, skateboards, baby joggers, wheelchairs, or prams (of any description) will be allowed on the course. Violation of this rule will be the grounds for disqualification of participants from the race.
  7. No pet of any kind with or without a leash is allowed on the run course. Violation of this rule will be the grounds for disqualification of participants from the race.
  8. Participants may not dress in clothing or wear gear that may be dangerous, hurtful, or cause harm to themselves and/or other participants. Participants shall not run with the whole part of their face covered, which may cause participants to not be able to see the run course and other participants on the run course. Violation of this rule will be the grounds for disqualification of participants from the race.
  9. Participants may not wear clothes for political or religious assertions or propaganda. Participants who are campaigning in any way shape or form must first inform and obtain permission from the organizers before race day. If a campaign is held without the consent of the organizers, the organizers reserve the right to stop and disqualify the participants from the OPPO Run and annul the participants from any potential podium. The next potential winner will take the disqualified participants.
  10. Participants shall not perform any act that can cause a delay to the race such as dancing, performing, playing instruments, standing near the start or finish lines, or in the streets along the course. Violation of this rule will be the grounds for disqualification of participants from the race.
  11. The race organizer is not responsible for any form of fundraising conducted by participants in the OPPO Run. The responsibility rests with the participants.
  12. Participants shall not prevent pedestrians from crossing the run course or obstructing the passage of emergency vehicles at certain points, when and where they are allowed to do so. Violation of this rule will be the grounds for disqualification of participants from the race.
  13. Race time will be displayed at the finish line. Cut-off times for each category are set as below:
    • Half Marathon : 3 hours and 45 minutes
    • 10K : 2 hours
    • 5K : 1 hour and 20 minutes
  14. To ensure the implementation of the cut-off times, the organizer will also implement the cut-off times at different points of the run course that will be announced before the event.
  15. Participants who cannot finish the race before the cut-off time will be declared not finishing the race (DNF) and will not receive a finisher medal.
  16. Road safety is under the control of the police department and the transportation authorities. Medical services will be provided by the organizer in partnership with local hospitals and medical teams. Medical personnel are allowed to stop participants they see as medically unable to continue the race.
  17. Timekeeping will be prepared for every category. All participants will be given bib numbers and timing tags to be worn during the race. Checkpoints will be placed at the start and finish line, and at designated timing points to ensure all participants are following the official route. Participants who fail to follow the official race courses will be disqualified from the race.
  18. Participants who win the race must wear the assigned timing tag and bib number. Winners must provide proof of photo identification to redeem the prize.
  19. Winners of the OPPO Run are decided in each category of men and women and decided based on the fastest race time recorded by the organizers, calculated from the start signal to the time the winners crossed the finish line (Gun Time).
Prizes
  1. Winners who are Indonesian citizens are entitled to the prize money for Open Category or National Category (whichever amount is higher). The winner can only take one prize from one of the podiums they won (without double dipping).
  2. Winners who are foreign citizens are only entitled to win Open Category prize money.
  3. Master Category Podium are only eligible for Indonesian citizens over 40 (forty) years old on Race Day. Winners have the opportunity to win Open Category Podium, National Category Podiums or Indonesian Masters (whichever amount is higher). The winner can only take one prize from one of the podiums they won (without double dipping).
  4. Prize money is subject to taxation by the government regulations.
  5. The withdrawal process of the prize will be done within 20 business days from the race day. The winner should ensure the accuracy of the bank account number, name, address, and swift code (for foreign nationals) which are required by the race organizer. Providing accurate information is the responsibility of the winners.
Others
  1. Other matters related to the terms and conditions of participation in the OPPO Run can be changed and added at any time by the organizers. These changes and/or additions will be informed to participants by the organizer. Participants must regularly check the terms and conditions that apply on the OPPO Run website.

    • No. Participant cannot change the name on the registration after it is completed.

  12. If I cancel my registration, will I receive a refund?
    • Completed registration payment by participant cannot be returned or refunded.

    • Registration can only be done only through our official online website.
  16. For payment using bank transfer, what is the maximum time allowed to make payment?
    • Participant who selected the bank transfer as a method of payment has 15 minutes to complete the payment after receiving the payment instruction.
Race Pack Collection
  1. Where and when can I pick up my Race Pack?
    • We will inform you of the location and schedule for picking up the Race Pack by email.
  2. What documents do I need to bring with me when I collect the Race Pack?
    • Original proof of identity in the form of KTP/SIM/Passport/KITAS and Confirmation of Participation in printed or digital form.
  3. Is it mandatory to collect the Race Pack?
    • Yes. All participants are required to collect their Race Pack during the scheduled Race Pack collection day. The competition package includes the OPPORUN2025 t-shirt, chest number (bib) and race timer (timing tag). All the necessities of the competition must be used during the competition.
  4. Can I entrust my Race Pack collection to someone else?
    • The collection of the Race Pack can be represented with the conditions that it brings: a photocopy of registration confirmation, a photocopy of the participant’s identity card, and a letter of authorization from the participant. The letter of authorization sample can be downloaded here. Representatives for taking the Race Pack are only allowed to take a maximum of 3 (three) Race Packs in 1 (one) queue.
  5. Can I collect the Race Pack on the race day?
    • Not. The Race Pack cannot be picked up on the day of the race.
Race Day
  1. Is there a luggage storage facility available in the competition area?
    • Yes. Luggage storage will be provided in the race center area.
  2. Is the bib number mandatory?
    • Yes, participants must use the bib number. The timekeeping tag will be affixed behind the bib number to record your time and make sure the participants are running on the correct course.
      If you do not use a bib number, the time will not be recorded and you are considered not part of the competition and are not entitled to a finisher medal.
  3. Can I race with my pet on the course?
    • No, you may not run with your pet on the course
  4. Are participants allowed to use bicycles, roller skates or carts baby during the race on the race route?

    • Information about prizes can be seen at official website opporun.com . Prize winners will only be given specifically for winners in each category. (Winners must have ID (KTP/SIM/Passport) or a KITAS holder that must be brought on the day of the competition)
  6. Will there be road closures?
    • Yes, we will inform you about road closures later. Road closures will be supported by local authorities and police.

Pregnant Participants
  1. Can pregnant women join the OPPO Run 2025?
    • Yes, pregnant participants are allowed to join the event under specific conditions to ensure their safety.
  2. What are the requirements for pregnant participants?
    • Pregnant participants must:
      1. Inform the organizer of their pregnancy status.
      2. Submit a medical clearance letter from their doctor stating they are fit to participate.
      3. Sign a waiver form releasing the organizer from any responsibility.
      All documents must be submitted no later than one (1) week before race day via email.
  3. Is the organizer responsible for any health issues during or after the race?
    • No. The organizer will not be responsible for any complications, health conditions, or risks that may arise due to participation during pregnancy.
  4. Can the organizer stop a pregnant participant from running?
    • Yes. The organizer reserves the right to prevent a pregnant participant from joining or continuing the race if it is deemed unsafe for health and safety reasons.
